Grom — Delete Your Account and Data
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Grom account and the data associated with it. Grom is provided by Yury Moskaltsov.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (fastest): 1. Open Grom and go to Settings. 2. Tap My Profile → Delete Account. 3. Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and deletion is processed.
Option 2 — By email: Email yury@gromapp.ai from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify your identity and process the deletion.
Deleting specific data (without closing your account)
You can also ask us to delete specific data — such as a particular call recording or your message history — without deleting your whole account. Email yury@gromapp.ai describing what you would like removed, and we will action it in line with our Privacy Policy.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it, including:
- Your account and profile (name, email, phone number, avatar, status)
- Your messages and shared files
- Call recordings you initiated and your transcribed speech from recorded calls
- Your tasks, reminders, and related content
- Your device identifiers and push tokens
What may be retained, and for how long
- Call recordings and transcripts are in any case automatically deleted after our standard retention period of 90 days, even if you do not delete your account.
- We may retain a limited amount of data where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Such data is kept only for as long as necessary and is then deleted.
- Content you shared in group conversations may remain visible to other participants where it is part of their own records, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Timeframe
Account deletions are typically completed within 30 days of your request.
